One of the best things to note about the Merax JK1603E Treadmill is that it’s not too big; it’s small and compact. It’s also easy to fold up if you don’t want it to occupy too much space in your home or apartment.
Also, this treadmill has a great cardio workout with 3 levels of incline. You can either walk or jog – and of course, have a high speed workout. You’re able to incline manually to two different positions, so you can intensify your workout. The speed can be adjusted to 1 km/h to 10kkm/h. The manual program, which you can customize yourself, also has two pre-set programs with low-intensity and high-intensity programs.
In addition, another great thing to note about the Merax JK1603E Treadmill is that it has a nice cushioned running track. If you’re prone to injuries – this can definitely prevent many of them. You won’t have to hear the slamming of your feet on the running track – which can hurt your knees and joints – because of the nice support you have down below.
If you want to track your performance during your workout, this treadmill thankfully has an LCD display that will show time, speed, distance, heart rate and calories burned. The control panel on the LCD display also shows your current workout program – whether it’s your heart rate you’re zoning in on or the calories burned.
In addition, we should also note that this treadmill is fairly easy to assemble. That way – you won’t be likely to pay extra for an expert assembly.
The electric motor, unfortunately, has only 500w. That’s a low speed of 10 km/h – which is great for a workout of light jogging and brisk walking; however, this isn’t really enough for people who want to intensify their workout to the next level. Moreover, the running track is only 14 inches wide – this works for most people, but it will be an issue for people who need a longer stride.
The incline setting has to be adjusted manually – and unlike another treadmill we’ve reviewed, this isn’t modified immediately.
The final issue we’ll have to discuss about the Merax JK1603E treadmill is that it only goes up to 220 pounds. This is a clear disappointment for people who weight more and they are looking to lose weight. So, to be frank – we won’t consider this is a ‘runner’s treadmill.’ It doesn’t include all the features and advantages for one of the best treadmills.
Despite a few drawbacks for the Merax JK1603E treadmill, it’s definitely still a great treadmill to exercise. It’s a convenient product that allows people to lose weight quite easily. In addition, for a reasonable price of $196 (without an expert assembly) – this is not bad option for a treadmill. We can almost guarantee you that this treadmill is a great fit for exercising sessions. It’s a perfect size and the folding up design works well in a nearly any location – home or apartment. A treadmill allows users to exercise in a variety of ways and lose weight, this is a no doubt a great option for people who want to lose weight.
